Senior Analyst, Corporate Finance & Investor Relations

Location: Victor, NY

The Senior Analyst, Corporate Finance & Investor Relations will contribute to forecasting, budgeting, and reporting on business performance and trends, as well as supporting the development of board and investor communication materials. In addition, the Senior Analyst will work cross-functionally on special projects that improve our business in the short and long term. The ideal candidate for this role will have the ability to think critically, bring a strong analytical background translating data to insights, and possess an operational mindset. This position reports to the Director, Corporate Finance & Investor Relations.

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Support the progression of and manage dynamic and scalable financial models, developing comprehensive outputs that track business metrics and performance on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
  • Support monthly business overview presentations, providing senior leadership with information on actual financial performance, analysis of key business drivers, and updated forecasts
  • Provide integral support on key team deliverables, including annual strategic and operating plans, annual and quarterly budgeting, financial re-projections, and both internal and external business reporting
  • Support the development of board and investor presentations to facilitate management discussions and articulate the company's strategic vision and operating plan
  • Contribute to high-impact cross-functional projects and ad-hoc analysis improving organizational efficiency
  • Executes duties and maintains standards in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Additional duties as required
  • Overtime hours may be required as job duties demand

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Expertise in Excel / PowerPoint, financial modeling, scenario/sensitivity analysis, and ROI, NPV, and IRR analyses
  • A self-starter able to prioritize and manage multiple assignments, take initiative, and work independently
  • Strong team player with demonstrated ability to work cross functionally
  • Strong organizational skills with an ability to perform under deadline pressure
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to communicate complex information effectively
  • Able to work with large amounts of data and detail without losing sight of the big picture
  • Solid work ethic and a professional, proactive, and positive approach to work

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year accredited college or university required
  • 3-5+ years of relevant corporate finance experience including proven ability to develop and maintain complex financial models
  • Proven quantitative & statistical experience supporting executive-level presentations
  • Familiarity with consolidated three-statement modeling preferred
  • Experience with Power BI, SQL, Python, or R preferred

Environment and Physical Demands:

  • Professional office environment with routine use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machine; noise level typical of a standard office environment
  • Prolonged sitting, computer and telephone use, as well as standing, filing, stooping, bending, reaching and lifting, and carrying up to 15 pounds
  • Ability to travel by plane, train, and automobile and operate a motor vehicle

The base salary range for this role is: $65,000 - $90,000. This range is Broadstone’s good faith estimate of the annual base salary it reasonably expects to pay for the position at the time of this posting. There are several factors taken into consideration in making compensation decisions including but not limited to the individual’s experience, skillset, relevant education & certifications, job-related knowledge, location, and other relevant factors identified through the recruitment & selection process.
